I find joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life. Growing up in Alaska gave me a unique perspective, a love for nature, and a realization that I belong on a beach. I’ve been married to my best friend for 22 years. We have 6 kiddos whom I’ve had the pleasure of homeschooling, nurturing their growth and learning with a hands-on approach. I love to travel, explore new places, and immerse myself in different cultures. My heart is in the kitchen, where I experiment with recipes and create delicious meals with my family. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year—I'm passionate about baking festive treats, crafting decorations, and turning our home into a winter wonderland with multiple trees and sparkling lights. I find delight in every detail, from intricate Christmas crafts to stringing up twinkling lights that bring warmth to the season. I'm always eager to learn new things and embrace the endless opportunities for growth and discovery.

tis the season is a wonderful little pop-up Christmas store in Scottsdale. I am a Christmas addict and usually do at least eight full-size, over the top decorated trees. The season speaks my language with beautiful, elegant, holiday decor. The women who run the shop are Fabulous. Lots of fun, helpful, professional, and they have good taste. This store is two hours from my home, but is absolutely worth the trip to go there. I wish these ladies had a home decor shop that was open year-round, because I certainly would have exquisite things. 10 stars for the season.
